Finding That Perfect Golf Swing

Finding That Perfect Golf Swing

So you're having trouble getting that swing into action
and you don't want to spend a fortune on a instructor
who will teach you what you already know. Keep reading
and we'll see if this guide can help you learn how to
improve your golf swing.

First of all, to get any good swing in motion, you will
need to relax. You may already have the
best motion, but you still need to brush it up slightly
and be more relaxed. Just pretend no one else is there.
Only you are there and no one is judging your game.

Or maybe your golf grip is giving you some trouble. There
are different variations of golfing grips and you should
choose one that feels right for you and stick with it.
Finding grips can be a simple case of trial and error,
but you will find the ones that best complement your
swing. It may take longer, but it will be worth it in
the long run.

If you don't have a good stance, then you
will more than likely end up with a bad swing and a bad
follow-through. But don't worry: it's not difficult to get
that good stance. It may just take time to get the motion
right, especially if you have been using that bad stance for
a while. It may be difficult to break out of it and move
into a good swinging motion.

Obviously, once you have found that perfect golf swing,
stick with it and work with it; there is always room for
improvement. You may not be the best golfer on the planet,
but if your swing works well for you and starts to bring
down your scores, then will you really care about being
the best in the world? Just beating your friends will be
a good start.

Golf tips: Crisper chips for a lower score

A big mistake that higher handicap golfers make is “scooping” their chip shots. They might feel like they have to help the ball into the air instead of allowing the loft of the club to do it for you. The key to hitting crisp chip shots is to have the shaft leaning toward the target as you are making your forward stroke through the ball. This leaning shaft allows the club head to work through the ...
